Please keep the Browns in your prayers as they prepare for departure to PNG on the 18th.

The adventure begins! The Browns are on the plane headed to San Francisco, then on to New Zealand and then ending in Australia to await their work visas before continuing on to PNG. Please pray for them on this L-O-N-G flight (about 5 hrs to CA, then 13-14 hrs to New Zealand).  We'll try to post some pictures of their departure.

We haven't heard from them yet but if all went well (and I'm sure it has) the Browns should be in Queensland, Australia at this point. Jerry calculated last night that they probably had about a 5 hr flight from New Zealand to Australia and probably arrived around 9pm our time Tuesday. (They left Chattanooga for the drive to Atlanta to fly out around noon Monday.) Hopefully they're all sleeping! Please continue to pray that their work VISA comes thru quickly.

We got to 'talk' to the Browns last night (morning in Australia!) They all seem to be doing well with the exception of Kate ~ her ears are still bothering her and gave her a tough time on the flight over. Please pray for Kate, although when I talked to her she said it was better but she still needed 'a little more prayer'.

It's so exciting to see how the Lord has laid things out for them. The Browns  are staying at a place Wycliff has for missionaries and the folks 'next door' to them is a family that will be their neighbors in PNG! So, the Browns are having an opportunity to get to make new friends and learn more about their new home in PNG firsthand. Isn't that great!?!
