I'm sure many of you know about Amy's products, but around here it's tough to find much in the store other than her pizzas. Yesterday at the store I found her Palak Paneer! Hurray!
http://amys.com/products/category_view.php?prod_category=18 I don't do a lot of frozen foods, but let's face it, it's time for me to go through a frozen food stage right now. The Amy's products are all or mostly organic and cater to various special diets (lactose free, vegan, vegetarian, etc). If you're gonna go frozen, Amy's is the way to go. It's a bit pricier (and thus somewhat a rarity for us right now), but well worth it in my opinion. You get better tasting, better quality food you can feel less guilty about popping in the microwave. Oh, other than her pizzas I've only seen single-serving meals available around here, though her website shows some family size meals (3).
The Palak Paneer is certified kosher and gluten free. It's microwaveable, ready in less than five minutes, easy to take to work or where ever and was yummy! No, I can't say it was excellent restaurant fare, but I enjoyed it and only got to eat about a third of it because Gid and Isaac were on the "more" parade after I shared. Busy Mom's, working folk: I recommend Amy's in general and the Palak Paneer specifically.
